Boozhoo! (Hello)
My name is Victoria Archie, I’m am an enrolled tribal member of White Earth Nation, located in Northern Minnesota. I’m a parent to 4 girls in the BC schools. My husband and daughters are enrolled members of Big Grassy River Indian Reserve, in Ontario.
We are a powwow family and travel extensively throughout the country for powwows and ceremonies. I make all of my family’s regalia and ceremonial attire. I’ve been beading since age 10, sewing for 16 years. I love to share my culture with anyone who’s willing to learn. An elder once told me to share our teachings, because the knowledge is not our own to keep.
